Manufactured to exacting standards, these imported bench planes are virtual copies of the no-longer-available Record bench planes. Frogs are well machined and adjustable for control of the throat opening, depth adjustment knob is brass, and hardwood handles and knobs have a hand rubbed finish. The high carbon steel irons are 2" wide and lever caps are chrome plated for added protection. The #4 and #5 are identical except for their length. Soles are guaranteed flat to within 0.003".

Low Angle Jack Replacement Iron
Based on the old Stanley 62 plane, this 14" plane features a 2" blade, bedded at 12. The low angle, bevel up blade was originally designed for end grain work. A moveable shoe located in front of the blade allows fine throat adjustments when planing figured or curly grain. Positive iron adjustment is easily made with the knurled stainless captive nut. Body is a fully stress relieved iron casting, with a bronze cap iron and cherry handle. Blade is a hefty 3/16" thick.

Replacement Blade
A superb tool for craftsmen and collectors alike, this is a recreation of the old Stanley No. 140. Features a detachable side and fence that let you convert it to a rabbet plane for more versatility. The low 12 deg angle and skewed blade provide a natural shearing cut that glides over even the most "difficult" woods with ease. This skewed cutting action means smoother, more accurate work with a minimum of effort. The 3-7/8" fence has two pilot holes for attaching longer wooden fences. Cast manganese bronze, polished to a lustrous finish, with hardwood knob, brass lever cap, locking wheel and set screws. 1-7/8 blade is ground to a 30 deg side skew and hardened to Rockwell 60-62. Overall 1-7/8" W x 6-7/8"L. Skew-Angle Block Plane With Nicker features the addition of an A-2 steel clover leaf "nicker" on the rabbeting side. The nicker scores the work in front of the blade, helping to prevent tear-out on cross grain cuts. The clover leaf shape gives four positions for the nicker; three cutting edges and a withdrawn position for standard block plane work.

Based on the Stanley 112, this scraper plane is expertly made from cast ductile iron, bronze, tool steel, brass and accented with Cherry handles. The scraper blade is 2-7/8" wide and 1/8" thick, hardened to Rockwell 55, soft enough to burnish but hard enough to hold an edge. With the blade sharpened and set properly in the plane it is ideal for finishing large flat surfaces like table tops and will produce a final finish on most difficult hardwoods.
